In 2023, I embarked on an incredible photography journey through Vietnam, exploring the vibrant cities of Hải Phòng, the serene coastal beauty of Quy Nhơn, and the awe-inspiring landscapes of Hạ Long. Each location offered its own unique charm – from the bustling port life of Hải Phòng, to the peaceful beaches and hidden districts of Quy Nhơn, and the legendary limestone karsts of Hạ Long Bay. This project captures not only the breathtaking scenery but also the soul of Vietnam through its people, culture, and everyday moments. Join me in this visual narrative that celebrates the rich diversity and stunning landscapes that made this trip unforgettable.
Hai Phong
Hải Phòng, known as the 'City of Red Flamboyant Trees,' welcomed me with its rich history, dynamic harbor life, and vibrant streets. This industrial hub of northern Vietnam offers a captivating mix of old-world charm and modern energy, from its colonial architecture to its bustling port. As I wandered through its districts, I sought to capture not just the city’s landmarks, but the rhythm of daily life – a city in motion, filled with stories waiting to be told through my lens.
Bay of Ha Long
Hạ Long, with its legendary bay and emerald waters, was a breathtaking highlight of my journey through Vietnam. Known for its towering limestone karsts and mystical caves, this UNESCO World Heritage site is a photographer’s dream. Beyond the famous bay, I ventured into the quieter corners of Hạ Long’s districts, where I discovered vibrant fishing villages and serene coastal life. Through this collection, I hope to capture the awe-inspiring natural beauty and the rich cultural tapestry that make Hạ Long a destination like no other.
Quy Nhon
Quy Nhơn, a coastal paradise in central Vietnam, revealed a more peaceful side of the country, with its quiet beaches, tranquil bays, and rugged landscapes. As I explored its many districts, I found a hidden gem where tradition meets natural beauty. From fishermen casting their nets at dawn to the sun setting over rocky cliffs, each moment in Quy Nhơn felt like a snapshot of serenity.
